Identity-verified access

Recipients verify via an email code — no accounts, and you know exactly who opened each file.

View-only & watermarking

Disable downloads, watermark every page with the viewer's identity, deter screenshots.

Audit trail & revocation

A tamper-evident log of every view; revoke or expire access whenever you need to.

NDA gating

Require recipients to accept an NDA before any file becomes visible.

AI PII redaction

Detect and redact TFNs, ABNs and bank details before you share.

Australian residency

All files stored in Sydney — never offshore. APP-aligned by design.

Secure file sharing FAQs

What is secure file sharing?
Secure file sharing is sending confidential documents to other people so that only the intended recipients can open them, you control what they can do (view, download, print), and you have a record of who accessed what. Unlike emailing attachments or sharing a cloud link, it adds identity verification, permissions, watermarking and an audit trail.
Why isn't email or Google Drive secure enough for confidential documents?
Email attachments can be forwarded endlessly with no control or record, and a Drive/Dropbox link grants access to anyone who has it. Neither verifies who actually opened the file, restricts downloading or printing, watermarks against leaks, or gives you a tamper-evident log — the controls you need for due diligence, audits, contracts or board papers.
How do recipients open securely-shared files without an account?
With ShareAndGo, recipients click a secure link and verify their identity with a 6-digit code sent to their email. No account, no password, no software. Documents — including spreadsheets — render in the browser, and you can disable downloading entirely.
Can I track who opened a file and revoke access?
Yes. Every view is logged with the recipient's identity, timestamp and IP address, and you can revoke access or expire a share at any time. The audit trail is tamper-evident (hash-chained) and exportable.
Is securely-shared data stored in Australia?
Yes. ShareAndGo stores all documents in Sydney (Google Cloud australia-southeast1) and never moves them offshore, supporting Australian Privacy Act / APP 8 obligations.
What's the difference between secure file sharing and a virtual data room?
They overlap — a virtual data room is secure file sharing organised into a controlled 'room' for a specific purpose (a deal, an audit, a board), with structure like folders, Q&A and per-room access management. If you're sharing a handful of files, secure file sharing is enough; for a due-diligence or audit engagement, a data room adds the organisation and controls you'll want.
